Territory Manager

US Foods Inc. - Bismarck, ND

  • Lead portfolio strategy and development of value added services (e.g., menu design, marketing services, operational and financial tools, restaurant consulting services)
  • Conduct industry trends analysis, competitive benchmarking; identify white space and opportunities for innovation and differentiation
  • Manage partnership relationships with 3rd party providers, leading negotiations where needed, to maintain and deliver pipeline of relevant services
  • Launch new products and services through various forums (e.g., Scoop etc.)
  • Measure and track key metrics of success (e.g., churn, penetration, sales, customer feedback) and provide regular reporting and performance analysis
  • Work closely with Restaurant Operations Consultant (ROC) Lead to gather feedback on value added services and opportunities for enhancement
  • Work collaboratively with deployment, merchandising & marketing and sales-force-coverage integration teams to develop training and selling material for sales and support roles
  • Identify and execute opportunities to drive awareness and adoption of value-added services across all markets

Education/Training: Bachelor degree in marketing, business or related field required. MBA Preferred

 

Related Experience:  Minimum 5 years experience in strategy, marketing, sales or similar field required, preferably in the foodservice or technology industry.

 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong strategic and analytical acumen required; self-starter; must be detail oriented with the ability to meet changing deadlines; excellent verbal, written & presentation skills; negotiation skills; technologically savvy; proficient in PowerPoint, Excel; working relationships in a matrix environment with a proven ability to manage through influence.
