Dialysis Patient Care Tech (Full Time, Day/Evening)

Education:

Minimum: High School or equivalent education.
Preferred: A concentration in electronics education in high school or post high school training.

License/Certifications: CPR/BLS must be completed within six months of employment. Certification with a national commercially available certification program or a State program will be required after 18 months employment or attaining 18 months dialysis experience (including dialysis experience at other agencies).

Experience:
Minimum: Demonstrates ability to follow directions precisely and accurately. Previous patient care experience.
Preferred: One year medical experience.

Other:
Minimum: Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling. Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and oral), analytical, and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with the public in a professional and courteous manner.  Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion Computer literacy required.
