These positions provide a unique opportunity to join our rapidly-expanding program at the Vermont Cancer Center as a Primary Nurse. This position supports the Hematology and Solid Tumor teams, coordinating care to adult and young adult patients diagnosed with malignancies. The Primary Nurse in Ambulatory Oncology serves as a pivotal member of the patients' multidisciplinary team, coordinating care across the continuum. Key aspects of this role include triage of acute illness, ongoing patient assessment and evaluation of response to illness and care, and the provision of comprehensive patient education. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication and organizational skills, as well as a passion for caring for patients challenged by cancer. Two years of oncology nursing experience (including chemotherapy administration) and OCN certification strongly preferred.

Education:

Licensed RN in the State of Vermont.
