Asst Dir Faculty Practice

Position Summary:

The goal of the Faculty Practice within the University of Vermont Medical Center is to achieve integrated clinical delivery for our patients and referring providers within the context of an academic practice environment.  In order to accomplish this goal, the Faculty Practice must operate as a multi-specialty group to the fullest extent possible.  The Assistant Director serves as a departmental resource for patient flow processes, staffing, space utilization and coordination of resources across sites.  The Assistant Director essentially serves as second in command within a large Health Care Service with responsibilities as delegated by the Director.  The Assistant Director may be responsible for overall day-to-day operations of assigned ambulatory care sites.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Health or related field required.

Experience:

Must have a minimum of 3 - 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a health care management setting, preferably in an academic physician practice setting.
