Graduate Nurse

University of Vermont Medical Center - Burlington, VT

Position requires less than six months of RN experience

 

Position Summary:

Provides entry level professional nursing care to patients in varying states of health and illness.  Working closely with the preceptor during the initial orientation period, the Staff Nurse I functions as an essential member of nursing and multidisciplinary teams providing direct care to patients and families, teaching, and preparation for continuing care after discharge.

Education:

Graduate of an accredited RN program.

Experience:

Registered Nurse, currently licensed in Vermont or a graduate nurse who is license-eligible for the first time and is awaiting State Board results.
