Nurse Midwife (Per Diem)

This is a per diem, non-benefit eligible position located in our Outpatient Clinic.

Master's Degree of Science in Midwifery and Licensed as Advanced Registered Nurse-Practitioner in the State of Vermont required.

Position Summary:

Certified Nurse Midwives are expert Advanced Nurse Practitioners in normal obstetrics and gynecology.  They work collaboratively with the physician staff of the Women's Health Care Service, with the responsibility and authority to independently evaluate patients and prescribe treatment within practice guidelines and their delineation of clinical privileges.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing, with licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Vermont required.  Master's Degree of Science in Midwifery and Licensed as Advanced Registered Nurse-Practitioner in the State of Vermont required.

Experience:

A minimum of one year's experience in clinical practice required.
