OR Technician

Position Summary:
The Operating Room Technician is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the sterile field. The Technician accurately and efficiently anticipates surgeon's needs intraoperatively by applying comprehensive knowledge of operative procedures, equipment, anatomy and surgeons preferences. The O.R. Technician works closely with all perioperative team members during the preoperative, intraoperative, and post operative care of the surgical patient.
Education:
High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of an Accredited Civilian or Military Operating Room Technician Program Preferred. One year successful experience as an Operating Room Technician in a similar environment preferred.
Experience:
One year successful experience as an Operating Room Technician in a similar environment preferred.
