Front of House Manager

Job Description
We are now searching for a dynamic individual, experienced in Front of House management to help us continue this amazing journey. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of job completion, continual improvement and selfless teamwork. This individual must have a “glass half full” and “git er done” attitude capable of motivating others. They will help to promote a fun and exciting atmosphere at Deerfield for both our guests and employees while maintaining the highest level of professionalism, service and safety.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and maintaining standards of service, health, safety and sanitation.
- Provide key support to overall team operations by coordinating staffing requirements and daily staff briefings with documentation.
- Make recommendations to improve services and quality.
- Lead, motivate and monitor all food and beverage staff members to ensure they have the ability to achieve job satisfaction and career development.
- Conduct walkthroughs of all service areas to critique environment and performance of staff.
- Lead the process of hiring, and training new employees reporting to this position.
- Must be hands on working most Friday and Saturday evenings.
- This job requires being on your feet for most of the work day and requires being able to pick up items weighing as much as 30 lbs.

Skills:
- Education: Degree in Hospitality or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years front of house management experience.
- Customer Service: Ability to easily interact with customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Leadership: Ability to rally team and resolve roadblocks in order to get the job done.
- Management Skills: Assure that all team members are properly trained, scheduled and are performing up to established standards of service.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain consistent quality control of food and beverage service.
- Problem Resolution: Ability to tactfully and professionally resolve customer issues.
- Excellent time management and communication skills necessary.
- Proficient at MS Office, POS systems.
