Program Manager - Community Based Services

Hillside Children’s Center has an opening for a Full Time Program Manager II in Syracuse, NY for the Bridges to Health program.  This position will supervise Care Coordination for the Bridges to Health program and the Office of Mental Health Waiver program

The Program Manager II is responsible for the overall leadership, management and performance of program operations including the delivery of quality direct service to client and families. The Program Manager develops and maintains systems to facilitate the integration of services; the Program Manager coaches and mentors teams in order to implement and maintain these systems. The Program Manager is responsible for the efficiency of the day to day operations of the program including budget development and management, utilization, hiring training, clinical oversight, regulatory compliance and safety of youth families and staff. The Program Manager supports HFA’s Philosophy of Care and works to remove systemic barriers to ensure its implementation.

Program Manager Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Ensures delivery of comprehensive family driven services within communities.
• Develops and implements systems of accountability for both teams and individuals.
• Assists in the development of the program budget and is responsible for adhering to the established budget.
• Develops and maintains positive funder and regulatory relationships via effective communications and a pro-active approach in working with funder staff.
• Handles and follows-up on internal and external emergency situations
• Acts a an active participant in agency, team, and community meetings as needed.
• Has and maintains in-depth knowledge about the services and activities of the area of responsibility.
• Develops, maintains, and updates all required documentation in a timely manner.

Qualifications

 

Master’s Degree in social work or other Human Services discipline  and Seven (7) years of experience with Three (3) of those years in a supervisor/management capacity required.  A Bachelor’s degree with equivalent amount of education and experience may be considered.  Candidates should have  strong relationship building skills and the ability to work with several community partners.  Candidates must have a valid New York State driver's license and must meet agency driving and insurance standards.
