Snell Farm Children’s Center is currently recruiting for a Part Time Speech Pathologist at our Snell Farm location in Bath, NY!

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Administers hearing or speech and language evaluations, tests, or examinations to student to collect information on type and degree of impairment
• Administers hearing or speech and language evaluations, tests, or examinations to student to collect information on type and degree of impairments, using written or oral tests or special instruments
• Evaluates hearing or speech and language test results, barium swallow results, or medical or background information to diagnose and plan treatment for speech, language, fluency, voice, or swallowing disorders
• Develops or implements treatment plans for speech problems, based on own assessments and recommendations of physicians, psychologists, or social workers
• Develops individual or group activities or programs to deal with behavior, speech, language, or swallowing problems
• Monitors students’ progress and adjust treatments accordingly. Participate in and write reports for meetings regarding the students’ progress
• Educates students and family members about various topics, such as communication techniques or strategies to cope with or to avoid personal misunderstanding

Master’s degree and New York Certification in Speech Pathology required.  Prefer 1-2 years clinical experience in Speech Pathology.
