In this mid-level Outside Sales role, you will work the geographic region around your assigned retail store(s), using your skills as a “hunter” to add new accounts to your book of business, providing your client businesses with total solutions ranging from Copy & Print services to our extensive line of promotional products and marketing collateral, signs and banners, and more. You can also build relationships with other Staples hunter groups within our mid-market team, who can provide you with warm, qualified leads to aid in your business development efforts.
You will also play a “farming” role as you manage and further develop existing client accounts, identifying opportunities to add new products and services to these accounts while assisting them with any concerns or new requests to ensure continued customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing, sourcing, and targeting small- to medium-sized businesses as potential new customers for our print and promotional division, while also managing and cultivating existing relationships within your book of business. This will often involve developing multiple accounts with various decision makers within the same company. More than simply selling, however, you will also assist your clients by leading multiple large print, copy, and promotional product projects for them, serving as a valued subject matter expert.
