Responsibilities:
Other duties may be assigned.
Consistently work within to provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times.
Responsible for smiling, making eye contact, and thanking customer upon fulfilling customer's request.
Maintain a neat, clean and organized workstation, according to 5S standards, at all times.
Responsible for cutting and preparing meat using knives, saws, cubers and grinders.
Responsible for ensuring proper wrapping, weighing and labeling of meat merchandise.
Responsible for adhering to all corporate meat department procedures and standards. (i.e.: case layout and trim specifications)
Responsible for adhering to proper sanitation and temperature guidelines ( i.e.: to include corporate and state inspection standards).
Responsible for receiving all meat products delivered at store location (i.e.: DSD and warehouse deliveries).
Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to pass a cutting test.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to read and write at the 8th grade level.
At least 6-12 months of related experience.
Constant exposure to cool environment ,Frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs.) ,Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching and climbing. ,Occasional lifting (up to 75 lbs.) ,Pushing and pulling (up to 500 lbs.) ,Repetitive use of left or right hand wrist, arm and shoulder. ,Store Environment
