Partners with the Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Surgical Services in responsibility for the overall operations, management, and growth and development of surgical services clinical outcomes within Kennedy Health System. Collaborates in the planning, implementing, and coordinating of patient care activities for surgical services through collaborative practice with the management team, staff and physicians. Has a targeted focus on clinical outcomes to meet organizational and regulatory/accreditation compliance. Provides leadership for areas of direct responsibility and is responsible for its resources. Works in close collaboration with other clinical services throughout Kennedy Health System. Acts as a liaison related to policy and procedure development both interdepartmentally and intra-departmentally and ensures regulatory requirements are met. Assists the AVP of Surgical Services in meeting goals and objectives outlined for services. Acts as an Manager Administrator on Call for Surgical Services.
