Cytotechnologist

GENERAL SUMMARY
Prepares and reviews slides for GYN and Non-GYN Cytologic examination. Determines cytologic interpretation and assists in fine needle aspirations system wide. Works closely with Pathologists. Must be able to travel between campuses and client locations as needed.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Ability to read and communicate in the English language. Bachelor of Arts or Science with completion of approved cytotechnology program is required. Must be CT(ASCP) certified. Must be up to date on CLIA/GYN Proficiency Certification. 2 years full time clinical experience required. Able to work with clinical laboratory information systems; SoftPath preferred.
