The Director is responsible for the operational oversight and the business/program development of the Woman's & Children's Services. The Director, also serves as the primary point of contact for Kennedy with its internal/external customers and strategic partners in order to ensure that the service line is:1) Positioned to be successful at the present time and into future2) Focused on the goals: a) Successful growth and development of products/services, b) Increasing service line volumes and market share, 3) providing quality clinical services to our patients.
Master's degree in Healthcare/Business Administration or related field preferred. 5+ years of broad healthcare experience including knowledge of regulations, finance, managed care, capitation and delivery systems. 3+ years of experience in women's health that includes experience in clinical, program development, and marketing functions of the service line. Strong business focus, creative approaches to program design, excellent planning skills, and the ability to facilitate change in a positive manner essential. Demonstrated leadership and administrative skills with the ability to develop and coach staff as well as the ability to delegate appropriately. Strong written and verbal communication skills, listening and critical thinking skills. Must be motivated to keep abreast of developments and trends in the health care field in general and in the women's health area in particular. Ability or past experience working successfully with physicians. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills and the ability to lead and implement change.
