Duties include, but are not limited to, assessing the respiratory status of individuals of all ages, emergency response, mechanical ventilation, invasive and noninvasive procedures, equipment maintenance, trouble shooting, maintaining the arterial blood gas system, and patient transport. Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Care required. One - two years of acute care preferred but not required. Certificate eligible, CRTT, registry eligible or RRT. Respiratory Care Practitioner-currently licensed by the State of Vermont. ACLS, NRP, & PALS certifications required (within 6 months of hire). Current CPR Certification.
