Position Summary:

Job Summary

The Manager, Real Estate Services will be a direct point of contact and have direct responsibility and accountability for the review of land surveys, legal descriptions, maps, deeds and other resources as they relate to the closing of dispositions of RPG client property. This individual is responsible and accountable for all aspects of the management of their projects in a manner that is consistent with the client’s goals.

The Manager, Real Estate Services will report to the Director, Portfolio Management

Job Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Review and Analyze surveys and legal descriptions as they relate to the client and projects.
  • Analyze clients internal maps, deeds and other resources related to the clients and projects.
  • Write and review legal descriptions.
  • Serve as information resources.
  • Interface with third party land surveyors.
Administrative
  • Conduct client property records research and compile data as it relates to title, disposition and special projects.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with client via verbal updates and reports.
  • Evaluate property title based on client’s acquisition instruments.
  • Interface with third party land surveyors.
  • Any and all other duties and tasks assigned. 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education/Training
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Real Estate is required.
Years of Relevant Experience
  • Five or more years in a real estate environment.
  • Direct transaction background is preferred.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels internal & external clients
  • Organizational & detailed-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage differing needs of the business.
  • Proficiency with and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook).
Other Abilities
  • Understanding of geographic boundaries, zoning concepts, land use planning, engineering challenges, environmental issues, surveys and platting.
  • Understanding the use and need of basic contracts specifically indemnification, environmental and insurance provisions.
Certifications / Licenses
  • Valid Real Estate license for state conducting business
Physical Work Requirements and Work Conditions
  • Position may work primarily at client site or project location with potential daily client and contractor interaction.
  • Face to face and/or remote daily interpersonal interaction is usually required in order to perform the job.
