Summary
The individual will be responsible for leading a team of one or more analysts responsible for management of the Comcast international benefits vendor as well as complex projects and ongoing initiatives that support benefits programs, systems, and processes to address the business needs of our diverse workforce. Responsibilities will include managing the complete life cycle of highly complex projects and annual initiatives, including approval, planning, execution, and closeout to ensure planned results are achieved on time. Engages HR leaders across the organization to identify issues, solutions and change management needs. Develops objectives, budgets, timelines, and ensures progress to plan, as well as tracking critical achievements. Manages vendors and team members to establish and achieve goals. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. In addition to new initiatives and projects, the individual manages a team focused data management and process improvement to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Core Responsibilities
-Provides overall vendor management including strategic guidance, relationship development, and internal stakeholder management.
-Collaborates with service providers to implement service enhancements for plan participants consistent with company goals and objectives
-Provides research and assistance to leadership in the development and design of new projects, fast-paced initiatives, and/or the establishment of operational/governance approaches.
-Leads the development of new vendor requirements, monitoring the drafting and approval of change orders, coordinating testing and rollout activities.
-Leads a team responsible for monitoring service levels, coordinating escalated cases and service improvement plans to ensure the success of various benefits programs.
-Uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes. Recommends new process and tools to achieve desired results.
-Manages status and information in the form of formal briefings, project update meetings, and written, electronic, and graphic reports.
-Creates and maintains process workflow documents to support business needs.
-Manages all assigned projects to completion ensuring on-time delivery, meeting of budgetary demands, and maintaining overall project ownership.
-Addresses problems through risk management and contingency planning and presents solutions and/or options to executive management. Ensures effective implementation of solutions/changes.
-Ensure adherence to budget guidelines as well as managing and/or developing necessary Statements of Work (SOWs), Contracts, Purchase Orders (POs), etc.
-Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
-Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
-Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
Desired Experience
-Demonstrated ability to build and lead a team of experienced data and program analysts
-Demonstrated success as a vendor manager in large, complex environments
-Experience with international benefits program design and administration preferred
-Strong organizational skills, follow through and demonstrated leadership
-Experience in a matrix / shared services environments
-Quickly grasps the essence and the underlying structure of new situations and problems
-Ability to use and analyze data to identify process improvement opportunities
-Ability to use personal influence to build positive working relationships with subject matter experts
-Familiarity and/or understanding of the contract to payment process for budget adherence
-Experience with Human Resources, and/or benefits providers preferred

-Fluent with the following Microsoft programs: Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint and Visio
-Knowledge of employee benefit programs, including qualified retirement plans as well as health & welfare benefits
-Certified Project Management or Six Sigma
Requirements
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
Years' Experience: Generally requires 10+ years related experience in benefits design and/or administration or vendor management
