Repair Technician

Position Summary:

Position Purpose:

Repair and Liquidation Center associates facilitate the repair and
return of customer and store owned products. They are responsible for
product inventory accuracy, research and documentation analysis, vendor correspondence and compliance, equipment repair and testing, and product parts management. They communicate with internal store and vendor contacts to expedite movement of product. They are also able to identify variations of parts, equipment, and tools in order to ensure a quality product repair and return.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose units to be repaired


• Repair, test and clean units


• Identify appropriate parts to be ordered


• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area

Nature and Scope:
Position reports to the department head or area supervisor. No direct responsibility for supervising others

Environment:

Usually in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to
factors causing moderate physical discomfort from such things as temperature extremes, dust,
fumes or odors

Travel:

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time

Qualifications:

Must be eighteen years of age or older

Must be legally permitted to work in the United States

completion of a high school diploma and/or GED

Physical Job Requirements
