Position Summary:
The Manager of Store Maintenance will be responsible for the overall maintenance of flagship and fleet stores in a designated region. S/He will manage day-to-day maintenance needs for building systems, and will be the major communication link between the stores and the HO on the status of building/store issues.  This individual will have exposure to all levels of A&F management, up to and including the CEO.  The individual will also manage teams of in-house Maintenance Technicians and cleaning crews. 

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the company standards for store/building appearance
  • Scheduling in-house maintenance, following up on projects and signing off on quality of work
  • Assess and/or perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of HVAC systems
  • Assess and/or perform maintenance and repairs in the areas of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting
  • Assist with and/or perform routine maintenance and annual inspections of all buildings systems
  • Manage the overall property maintenance including, but not limited to, appearance, equipment and systems to ensure operational performance and operational efficiency and safety
  • Assist in maintaining preventative maintenance program on all equipment
  • Participates in safety/emergency training programs provided by Management
  • Able to work with a sense of urgency to identify, research and resolve issues
  • Lead store walk throughs with Sr. Management
Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of retail store operations
  • Ability to manage teams to maximize productivity
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management
  • Fluent in both English and country of employment
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC troubleshooting and repairs
  • Possess knowledge to safely and effectively use building maintenance tools and equipment
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks
  • Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required
  • 4 year degree preferred
  • 5 - 10 years of relevant professional experience
  • 3 years of upscale retail maintenance or facilities management experience in a multi-site setting
  • International facilities management experience is a plus
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
  • Ability to read M.E.P. blueprints, general operational manuals and safety documents
