Product Recovery Center Analyst

Albertsons Safeway is working to become the favorite food and drug retailer in every market it serves. The Supply Chain Department has an opening for a Supply Chain Product Recovery Center (PRC) Analyst II located in Boise, Idaho.
 
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Assist in management of hazardous waste data integrity
•Analyze and report of swell policies for the category management teams
•Manage large sets of data from several different sources.
•Work with Division Shrink Manager and Back Door Receiving coordinators
•Will assist in determining vendor paybacks and adjustments.
•Reconcile invoice discrepancies.
•Research store inventory adjustments on a regular basis.
•Work with Category Management on vendor compliance and policy issues.
•Execute PRC initiatives
•Analyze, interpret and provide insight/conclusions relating to PRC tasks.
•Perform root cause analysis and reporting to internal and external groups
•Support Retail Operations and  retail stores
 
 
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
•Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point. Microsoft Access experience preferred.
•Strong experience in SQL Enterprise Manager
•DB2 experience preferred with understanding of table constructs, index use, data types, db concepts, etc.
•Must be proficient in Access Database design and build with some VB experience
•Excellent analytical skills
•High degree of initiative with strong planning skills; must be able to work independently and be a team player.
•Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
•Must be a self-starter.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills.
