Director, Accounting & Controls – Leases

Position Summary:

• Leads lease accounting for the US Real Estate division and Walmart US including assessment of contracts and standardized accounting controls.
• Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics.
• Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce.
• Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals.
• Manages technical accounting around leases. Mitigates Company risk exposure.
• Provides management guidance, training and direction.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of supervisory experience OR 2 years experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
• Bachelor s degree in Finance or related field and 4 years experience in finance or related field OR 8 years experience in finance or related field.
