HR Support Lead
Albertsons Companies is working to become the Favorite Local Supermarket™ in every neighborhood it serves.  The organization includes over 2,300 stores, 30 distribution facilities and 21 manufacturing plants with over 275,000 employees across 35 states and the District of Columbia.
The Human Resources Department has an opening for a multitalented HR Support Lead.  This position is located in Boise, Idaho.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Support multiple department leaders with all administrative tasks which may include answering phones, managing calendars, assisting with special events at the campus, and making travel arrangements.
  • Act as a resource to department to assist with ad hoc assignments and tasks.
  • Handle administrative tasks and special projects, as assigned.
  • Manage and reconcile expense reports and purchase requisition submissions.
  • Prepare on-going and special reports while obtaining necessary data and information from various sources. 
  • Completes detailed projects such as preparing correspondence from rough drafts and completing specialized departmental forms.
  • Coordinates and implements approved changes in policies and procedures affecting the corporate office.
  • Assist in developing presentation materials using PowerPoint, Excel, and other related programs.
  • Collects and prepares highly confidential information for the use in presentations/meetings.
  • Help plan and execute periodic group/team meetings.
  • Scan incoming periodicals for articles about/pertinent to the company/function; serve as a backup to corporate communications team in creating weekly clips emails.
  • Coordinates special programs and/or events.
 Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred; High School diploma or GED required.
  • High level of proficiency with office systems (to include, but not limited to, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Publisher).
  • 5-8 years of executive support or project management experience preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly developed inter-personal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential material with discretion.
  • Highly developed organizational skills.
  • Significant customer service experience.
  • Considerable experience in managing multiple and high level priorities simultaneously.
  • Must be able to prioritize work assignments and be detail oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time and prioritize tasks.
  • Thorough knowledge of technical and business vocabulary.   
Physical Environment:
  • Work typically performed in a temperature-controlled environment.
  • Sits, stands, or walks for extended periods of time.
  • Bending, stooping and twisting required periodically.
  • Spends long periods of time at desk or computer terminal.
  • Uses calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of normal workday.
  • Workday is fast paced, some evening and weekend work may be required.
