Contribute to team responsible for architecting, designing and implementing network management technologies to support Comcast's carrier-grade commercial data services: interface with Service Delivery and Service Assurance teams to understand their needs, work with various architecture and development teams to create solutions, and collaborate with impacted development and testing teams to ensure successful delivery of each proposed solution; participate in project lifecycle, from planning to design to production, utilizing knowledge of service architecture and data modeling concepts to implement changes to Business Support Systems/Operations Support Systems (BSS/OSS); support all phases of the software development lifecycle and solution readiness for Enterprise and Carrier Ethernet Services, from requirements gathering to user adoption; support network system upgrades by defining service architecture requirements and specifications, and work with a team of design engineers to build Enterprise and Carrier Ethernet Services; design and configure elements of network management services in order to track customer products as they go through the Comcast network; work with platform owners in ongoing monitoring of platform performance; utilize Spectrum to automate fault detection and management systems; define metrics in order to provide reporting and analytics on complex operational and tactical data; collaborate with Systems Engineering, National Engineering, Technical Operations' Tool owners, and upstream Business Unit teams in the refinement of BSS/OSS requirements and all associated documents required to develop product solutions.
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; and two (2) years of experience designing and architecting network management services (including Fault, Configuration and Performance Management) for carrier-grade commercial internet providers
