Software Engineer - Intern-2
Primary Responsibilities
Develop and execute automated tests on a wide range of cutting edge hardware.
Extend automation harness for improved quality assurances.
Monitor daily automation results, performing initial triage of issues and filing defect tickets as necessary.
Verify fixed defect tickets.
Perform manual testing for use cases not covered by automation.
Work side-by-side with product developers throughout the release cycle.
Work with support to investigate and resolve customer problems.

Common Qualifications and Requirements
Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles.
Passion for quality and attention to detail.
Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work in a team, multi-task, and learn quickly, welcoming critical feedback and encouraging different viewpoints.
Windows Qualifications and Requirements
Experience in working with and installing Windows.
Experience in PowerShell and batch scripting is a plus.
Mac Qualifications and Requirements
Experience in working with and installing Mac OS.
Experience with Unix shells and scripting.
Preferred Skills
Experience working with hypervisor technologies such as VirtualBox, Xen or Hyper-V.
Knowledge of bug-tracking and source control management tools. Preference for Jira and Git tools experience.
Experience in Python and web technologies for presenting automation results is a big plus.
