Position Summary:
• Develop, seek and close new suppliers consistently to generate assortment growth and revenue
• Able to interact with a broad set of business skills and present over the phone, email and in person.
• Develop and review potential new vendor acquisition strategies
• Strong track record of high level negation and manage successful internal and external vendor relationships.
• Strong analytical abilities and skills
• Excellent written and verbal skills with strong attention to detail and follow through.
• Manage a Vendor Database
Qualifications:
• 4+ years of proven experience in merchandise, on boarding suppliers and assortment growth through product selection.
• 2-3 years developing strong business relationships with vendors and industry leaders
• 1-2 years experience managing and growing category assortment
Education level
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Physical Requirements
