OUTSIDE & LABELING LEAD POSITION

The Outside lead reports directly to the Outside Manager and provides leadership to the Outside Clerks as needed. He/she is responsible for completing the work of a outside lead. The Outside Lead performs all order filling functions including but not limited to: picking orders, pulling merchandise to fill orders through scanning and keying orders,stacking items into totes and onto carts/conveyor belt in a fast and accurate manner. The Outside Lead demonstrates behavior that supports AWBC core values.

Roles and Responsibilities

•             Supervises Outside clerks as they perform their duties.

•             Fills store and customer orders for all customers. 

•             Responsible for removing product from shelves as requested.

•             Add or remove labels from product as assigned.

•             Scan or key orders per established process.

•             Responsible for following all safety rules, regulations and guidelines.

•             Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

•             High school diploma preferred or equivalent.

 

Preferred Skills

•             Previous warehouse experience preferred.

•             Prior experience using radio-frequency scanner preferred.

•             Ability to make on the spot decisions based on training and experience.

 

Physical and Environmental Requirements

•             Continuously stand up to 4 hours.

•             Walk between 4-6 miles a day. Walking short distances through the department/building.

•             Use hands/arms to pick and carry product and operate required equipment.

•             Lift objects up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.

•             Speak in English with or without an assistive device.

•             Hear without an assistive device.

•             Read and write legibly, including very small print.

•             Accurately identify the correct items from their correct location.

•             Scan or key orders per established process

•             Continuously stand, stoop, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, scanning, counting, keying orders, cleaning, carrying, and move freight, including repetitive motion.
