Customer Service Expeditor- Book & Run

Job Summary
Meets and exceeds Book & Run customers’ needs and assists Sales in meeting company goals and solidifying customer relationship with Staples Promotional Products. Manages and reports Book & Run Special Order tasks which include interactive communications with Special Order vendors. Supports the Book & Run reps by ensuring that orders are on cost, accurate and on-time. Proactively identifies Book & Run Special Order issues and assists Book & Run reps to resolve order issues to deliver the best value and highest quality to the customer.


Key Job Responsibilities
• Provides service to customers on a daily basis by processing orders, strives to exceed customer expectations, and builds relationships with customer base.
• Takes the appropriate actions to review and address negative CSAT surveys.
• Processes customer refunds and/or exchanges received via email, phone or CSAT surveys.
• Follows up on all orders daily. Ensures vendor received the PO and art, confirms in-hands date and secures tracking numbers. Make additional contact as needed.
• Communicates to SPO rep any changes or issues received from the vendor. Contacts the vendors for any changes or issues received from the SPO rep.
• Updates LINC systems with information provided by the vendor (ie: ship date, tracking numbers) and additional information as requested.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Identifies opportunities and is open to ideas on how to work more efficiently as a team.

Education/Experience Equivalent (minimum requirements)
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Some college or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 1 – 2 years related experience
• Previous Promotional Products experience preferred


Other Skills (e.g. specialized training, language proficiency, functional expertise etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple projects with changing priorities and deadlines
• Ability to pay attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong typing and keyboard skills
• Strong computer skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Knowledge of AS400 computer skills preferred
• ASI Industry knowledge preferred
