Check inbound product identification against invoices and receiving paperwork to insure correct pack/size, quantity, product quality and temperature, pallet ti/hi, etc.
Check temperature of all inbound frozen and refrigerated products to ensure proper temperatures and comply with U.S. Foodservice’s food safety and RRE requirements.
Check the cleanliness of the trailers before they are unloaded.
Verify quantity of each product to insure physical count agrees with shipping and receiving documentation; report any variances so that inventory levels are accurately adjusted in system.
Apply labels to all incoming product to identify that product in the warehouse for stocking, selection and inventory tracking.
Complete required paperwork for daily receiving, as per U.S. Foodservice, USDA and SOX requirements; sign and date to authenticate products received are placed into inventory.

Education/Training: High School Education or equivalent preferred.
Related Experience: A minimum of 3 months previous warehousing experience required, previous comparable warehouse experience preferred;
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Able to read & write legibly; basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide); good verbal communication skills; basic computer skills
