Front Line Receptionist - World Headquarters

At Nike’s World Headquarters, the Front Line Reception team serves as Building Ambassadors. Our role is to provide employees, callers and visitors exceptional experiences through processes that protect Nike’s people, ideas and property. We are looking for a Reception team member to perform a wide range of services contributing to the success of the Nike teams and visitors we support.


As our Front-Line Receptionist, you are responsible for providing a friendly, welcoming and premium experience to each of your visitors. As a window into the company, you are often the first person that your visitors will interact with and providing them with a positive, memorable experience is key.
Along with providing a high-level of service and support to each of your visitors, you will be responsible for the following:

  • You will greet, register and assign guest passes to all visitors and notify appropriate individuals of each visitor's arrival.
  • You will act as an information resource for visitors, employees and job applicants
  • You will provide information regarding shuttle schedules, phone operations, employee seating locations, mail issues, conference room locations, package deliveries, department reference information and contact names. 
  • You will provide conference room booking support, IT troubleshooting, taxi service bookings, and a range of other services.
  • You will provide follow up to ensure visitors do not wait in the lobby for an extended period of time.
  • You will receive, record, track and distribute packages to employees.
  • You will answer and screen phone calls, directing them to the appropriate individual or department.
  • Earliest shift starts at 7:30 am and latest shift ends at 5:30 pm.

Requirements for the position include:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least one year of experience in a customer service, front desk, or hospitality environment
  • The ability to determine the best course of action when faced with a challenging situation
  • Strong initiative to notice a need or issue and address it
  • The ability to engage proactively and enthusiastically with people
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent phone presence
  • Basic knowledge of PC, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office
  • Flexible to work varying schedules with little notice and rotating shifts depending on assigned tasks or duties
  • Able to type 25 wpm
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. unassisted
• Previous retail or customer service experience a plus.
