As our Strategic Account Executive, you will contribute to develop and execute Nike sales strategies, focusing on how to maximize profitability for the company and the account. Working with our organization will be rewarding, challenging, and most definitely not be just another job. You will lead the planning and implementation of the category strategy to support the strategy and drive results. You will be part of the Integrated Account Team and be expected to understand the account strategy and translate those into specific initiatives and be the main point of contact for internal stakeholders and the account.
Develop a deep knowledge of the consumer to share key insights from marketplace to categories and rest of internal stakeholders
Achieve sales goals on a seasonal basis as part of a strategic account team
Work closely with a broad internal team on a seasonal business plan based on financial planning, sell-thru and account specific objectives.
Work in close alignment with the sales counterparts to achieve the best possible result for both the account and Nike.
Forecasts and scenario plans for using category, account, brand and marketplace knowledge
Ensure best presentation of stories and product
Drive the Nike strategy and transfer it to the customer
Ensure appropriate seasonal product flow by category and by month, in order to optimize account opportunities. Work with account buyer and planner to ensure market and customer capacities are met. Manage, with planner, the customer inventory position based on seasonal targets and sell-thru objectives.
Establish and maintain timely, consistent and positive external and internal relationships.
Provide exceptional customer service by developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customer personnel at all levels of the customer’s business.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in strategic account management
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Must have knowledge of Sporting Goods industry and of trends in the marketplace.
Must understand the competitive market, customers and retail trends.
Must be able to use financial data to make sound decisions on the maximization of revenues, profits and sales opportunities.
