As a Merchandise Planner for Nike Factory Stores you will establish clear merchandise plans that tell a story for the season and help buying to create lines grounded in profitability and consumer right assortment. This will include collaborating with your Buying, Allocation, Planning, and Retail Brand Presentation partners to develop and communicate a comprehensive strategy that aligns future financial and product opportunities. You’ll drive the category planning process across product engines and seek out opportunities by driving profitable seasonal consumer right assortment plans while maintaining the brand image and keeping the market place clean. Responsibilities include seasonal rebuy line level forecasting, creating visibility with seasonal hind sighting, weekly trading, seasonal business reviews and buy review trainings, trend analyses, creating and managing in season category assortment plans and making recommendations on pricing, mark down and promotions
3 years’ experience in retail (merchandise) planning
Retail math, financial planning and assortment planning skills with knowledge of automated planning systems including OTB, assortment (line) planning, distribution and reporting.
Strong Excel skills.
Systems experience with planning tools, PCs, Word, and PowerPoint.
Good analytical skills, detail-oriented and well organized. Accurate.
