We are looking for someone special, who has a natural drive to learn and solve problems and has some or all of these skills:

• Bachelors in computer science, or related technical discipline with a Business Intelligence and Data Analytics concentration
• Passion for big data and analytics and understanding of Hadoop distributions
• Good understanding of architecture and design principles
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Exposure to new cloud technologies/tools/frameworks, particularly AWS
• Exposure to streaming technologies like Kafka, AWS Kinesis etc.
• Experience in programming languages like Java, Python, SQL
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning is nice to have
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Build data pipelines using Hadoop ecosystem components such has Hive, Spark & Airflow
• Automate Analytic platform solutions hosted in AWS, leveraging AWS managed services of EMR, S3, Lambda, KINESIS, SNS & SQS
• Leverage your SQL, Python, scripting skills in a distributed computing environment
• Build secure and highly available software solutions for high-performance, reliability and maintainability
• Work in a collaborative environment that rewards innovation, problem solving and leadership
• Implement full DevOps culture of Build, Test automation with continuous integration and deployment
