The Quality and Compliance Coordinator (QCC) works collaboratively with the leadership and management staff to develop and implement the ADC quality management processes. This position functions as a focus point at the ADC to coordinate Footprinting, Vendor compliance and Incoming Quality Control. Creates weekly and monthly dashboards to report key performance indicators (KPI’s) and quality metrics to Management and Corporate teams. This position will encompass Footprinting Technology, reporting Discrepancies' to Vendors and training others on relevant tasks.
Responsibilities:
· Assists and supports Quality Inspector on finished product and components to ensure compliance with product specifications and prevent poor quality products from ending up on the markets.
· Develops and updates quality related standard operation procedures (SOP’s).
· Leads quality improvement initiatives and ensures the implementation of Vendor Compliance through data collection, monitoring of quality measures, leading model of improvement activities and quality reporting.
· Serves as the organization’s resource person on footprints issues.
· Footprint changes and/or verification requests: researches item, verifies dimensions, goes to physical locations to verify product footprint and updates in RP if needed.
· Other duties: Updates Standards list and BOX spread sheet; Issues tickets to Help Desk; Generates Master Carton Labels; Updates Weekly Cleaning Schedule; Enters Production Sheets on Managers Tool database.
Qualifications:
• Strong analytical skills, including ability to assess complex systems, conceptualize data and problem-solve effectively.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), including graphs, pivot tables, formulas, layouts, reporting, presentations and statistical evaluation
•Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations required.
• Experience in a Quality department (cosmetics industry preferred) with demonstrated ability to implement quality systems.
• At least 1 year Warehouse Experience, preferably working with Component Suppliers and Quality Systems.
•High School graduate or GED required, college degree preferred.
