Own the economics of proposed MDA’s (Master Distribution Agreements).
Partner with sales teams and local leadership to evaluate economics of customer distribution agreements. Confirm data provided by client or USF colleagues and create profit models on the proposed deal. Provide recommendation summary to sales and leadership on compliance with established guardrails and strategies for maximizing profitability.
Conduct periodic financial reviews of contracts to evaluate performance against proposal. Identify opportunities to increase margins and work with sales and leadership to take action. Help develop summary of findings and provide updates to Revenue Management leadership and other stakeholders.
Support contract process by executing / preparing standard contracts and acting as the liaison with USF in-house legal department to draft alternate contract language as required.
Conduct contract compliance reviews on customer contracts, review results, and present observations and recommendations for improvement. Prepare calculations for contract triggers and communicate to sales and administrative owners the change to the program.

Education/Training: BS in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or relevant work history. Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) certification a plus.
Related Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in finance management or contract/vendor management, customer agreements or pricing experience required; experience in foodservice/distribution environment preferred.
