Enhanced Product Data and Content

Lead development of content strategy for a given category, partnering closely with Site Merchandising, Item managers and Merchants

Develop a cohesive Product Content plan, determining the appropriate mix of data and content necessary to enhance the Guest Experience through robust, curated product detail pages.

Determine and build an acquisition strategy for assigned categories, and build out delivery tactics using vendors, internal resources, and third party and agency partners.

Images: benchmark competitive landscape to understand relevant photography style, image count and User Generated Content needed to create the best guest experience. Own PDP input for style-guide creation.

Features and Long-Copy: Collaborate with internal partners (PD&D, packaging, Food Scientists, Item Managers, and SEO) to identify important product attributes for use in long-copy and feature content on PDP. Implement the best format for copy and feature content based on category needs.

Vendor Negotiations (Third Party Content Providers): Work with relevant third party data providers, partnering to align services provided, contract pricing, contract negotiations and relationship management.

Product Title: Understand Google Trends and Internal search trends to advocate for improved Product Title work within the IDS team. Ensure this same language is incorporated into other copy formats.

Size & Fit: Manage the creation of size & fit collateral (trend positions only). This involves incorporation of meta-data from Global Photo and size and fit information from PD&D. Develop strategy to increase User-Generated content in this space.

Develop strong relationships with Product Teams and EDABI to advocate for and partner in the development of improved systems and tools to support digital content.

Achieve coverage goals that reflect best-in-category content positioning for the digital channel.

Implement coverage goals by Content Type based on category need and competitive landscape

Ensure standards align with budget guidelines.

Four-year college degree with focus in business, marketing, editorial/creative, or related field preferred.
-
3-5 years’ experience within Product Content, Marketing, Site Merchandising, Item or Merchandising
-
Digital, eCommerce experience highly preferred
