The Associate Event Merchandise Manager is responsible for implementing on line events and campaigns to drive sales and profitability. This person will work closely with peers and cross functional teams to streamline processes to simplify and automate; thrives on results, reacts to business and prioritizes work efforts as needed; defining site business strategies to meet business objectives then translating business strategies into clear actionable steps. Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions:
Drive On- line Sales Performance
• Maximize online events to increase sales, conversion and profit performance
• Understand event business strategy, vision, objective and priorities. Define requirement for success –Establish Best in Class Execution based KPI / ROI
• Strategic cross-functional relationships (Digital Merchants, Marketing, Production, and Internal Site Merchandise Partners) to leverage necessary resources in establish Best in class execution
• React to Business for immediate results
Innovation and Improved Customer Experience
• Innovate to Simplify and Automate to increase event work process or/and operational efficiencies
• Seek out opportunities to grow the business by improving the customer shopping experience
• AB Testing to continue to drive sales / conversion increases
Event/Campaign Merchandising and Implementation
• Ensure Implementation of best site experience and seamless execution:, site wide events and promotions , fob events and campaigns
• Hands on Execution. Collaborate with partners to ensure performance and success
• Reduction of Preview/live site issues
Special Projects
• Projects that deliver on increased sale and/or efficiencies
• Engagement to cultivate team work environment. Address Engagement Survey Results with a game plan
• Consistently demonstrates regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in on line merchandising or/and retail experience preferred
Communication Skills:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to present and influence immediate team, and across functions
Mathematical Skills:
• Must have strong analytical skills
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to translate Analytical data /website metrics into strategy
• Experience in web analytics tools preferably – Coremetrics
Reasoning Ability:
• Must be self-motivated
• Ability to work well independently within a multi- functional, multi campus team, action-oriented, creative problem solvers, with a keen understanding of their role in the overall workflow
• Must be able to work effectively on a team
Physical Demands:
• This position involves extended periods of sitting and the extensive use of computer and other office equipment
• Must be able to view complex data for extended periods of time
• Requires regular walking, standing, lifting up to 10 lbs., hearing, and talking
• Involves close vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
• When required, must have the ability to manage the physical demands of business travel
Other Skills:
• Ability to work under pressure, handle changing priorities and simultaneously handle multiple priorities
• Deadline Driven. Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, E-mail, web content management system experience required
• Ability to make immediate sound decisions and when need able to influence peers and across functions

• Full Time – Ability to work a flexible schedule based on need
• Consistently demonstrate regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
