A Day in the Life: Analytics, Strategy, and Driving Results
You will be part of a team that is directly responsible for developing and executing financial plans, product analysis and inventory strategies at every Macy’s Department Store across the country as well as the macys.com. Your work assignments will be analytically complex as well as relationship-driven. Roles within the Omni Planning organization incorporate a wide range of business concepts including data analytics, assortment localization, vendor partnerships, financial and location planning, brand management, inventory productivity, replenishment, allocation, and trend forecasting. Each member of the planning organization contributes to driving business growth. Even as a new executive, you will influence business decisions and make recommendations that have a direct impact on sales and profitability.
Location & Start Date
This Assistant Planning role is based out of our New York, NY headquarters. Qualified applicants will be contacted to schedule a first round 30 minute phone interview with a Macy’s Talent Acquisition Recruiter. Candidates advancing to the second round will be scheduled for in-person interviews on May 5th with an expected start date of May 22nd.

Qualifications:
Education/Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Finance, Marketing or equivalent)
• 1 years retail planning or buying experience
Communication Skills
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to influence
Other Skills
• Strong analytical and excel skills
• Result-oriented and self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency
• Readily grasps numerical concepts and interprets financial information accurately; ability to utilize retail math skills to analyze and drive business
