Logistics Manager (Government)

AT&T - COLUMBIA, Maryland

The Logistics manager is responsible for insuring that customer supply needs are met. Manages logistics staff to include planning, directing and coordinating the distribution of materials and supplies across various locations.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing support to the logistics function preparing logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked.
• Determining maintenance and repair materials required for deployment.
• Modifying maintenance records such as repair standards for more complex equipment or components.
• Developing requisitions for and manages records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals; tracking logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities; reviewing configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment; Documenting equipment, component and parts conditions; and identifies logistic support documentation to be included such as drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance requirement cards to support life-cycle of product.

Shall have fourteen (14) years of experience that can be a combination of work history in logistics or logistics management and education. A master’s degree is equivalent to 6 years of experience, a bachelor’s degree is equivalent to 4 years of experience and an associate’s degree is equivalent to 2 years of experience. The degree must be in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.

Required Clearance: Candidate must have a TS/SCI polygraph clearance.
