Lab Specialist (Government)

AT&T - COLUMBIA, Maryland

Responsibilities include:

1. Supporting the integration of test tools and procedures into customer approved testing platform
2. Ensuring test environment is maintained to the customer’s baseline for multiple Operating Systems in use throughout customer’s enterprise
3. Supporting the testing for the both Microsoft Operating Systems and endpoint protection software to ensure capabilities are focused on customer security goals
4. Documenting and resolving testing issues and challenges which delay successful implementation of software components
5. Evaluating, recommending, and implementing automated test tools and strategies focusing on customer goals and requirements for enterprise endpoint security
6. Designing, implementing, and conducting test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements and expectations are met
7. Developing, maintaining, and upgrading automated test scripts and architectures for application products
8. Writing, implementing, and reporting status to customer leadership on system test cases and results
9. Analyzing test cases and providing regular progress reports to peers and supervisory chain
10. Participating in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development with special emphasis on Assessment and Authorization (A&A).

Shall have nine (9) years of experience that may include a combination of work history and education. A master’s degree is equivalent to 6 years of experience, a bachelor’s degree is equivalent to 4 years of experience and an associate’s degree is equivalent to 2 years of experience. The degree must be in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management or a related discipline from an accredited college or university. Work history must be as a TE on programs/contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.

Required Clearance: Candidate must have a TS/SCI polygraph clearance
