As part of the Mobile Software Engineering Group you will develop apps on a next generation platform that enriches our customer experience through features including OTT Content Delivery, Mobile Streaming, Video on Demand, Interactive Services, Recommendations, Dynamic Ad Insertion, and many others.  

 

Responsibilities


·       Participate in design and implementation of cutting edge systems & applications

·       Develop Android based applications and frameworks

·       Design and develop highly responsive, and multithreaded apps

·       Review requirements, UX designs and translate them into application design

Conduct technology research; conceptualize ideas into prototype and products; coordinate or manage development efforts

Minimum Requirements

·       BS in Computer Science or related field, with 4 years experience and strong understanding of Java

·       2 years of  Android aplication development experience using Android Studio, Android SDK, Retrofit or Volley, Dagger 2, Glide, Gson, RxJava or Event bus, and Android Data binding .

·       Experience with Android SDK and thorough understatning  of mobile development lifecycle.

·       Comprehensive understanding of REST/JSON/XML Web Services

·       Experience working with third party libraries  and APIs.

·       Experience with multithreaded software design and working knowledge of the general mobile software design patterns, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies

Desired Qualifications

·       Ability to work independently with effective time management in a fast paced, deadline driven environment

·       Ability to work across teams and with remote teams
