Communications & Collaboration Group Director (Government)

AT&T - COLUMBIA, Maryland

The CCG Director is the focal point for aligning activities and managing interactions that cross contracts, and represents RIS I during collaboration with GW and non-GW SPs. Further, the CCG Director understands and respects RIS I boundaries, and knows when and how to escalate decisions. The CCG Director reports directly to the Team AT&T Program Manager (PM) and is supported by a dedicated team of individuals trained to understand the GW contract, integration requirements, and technical operations. This team includes dedicated points of contact (POCs) assigned to GES, RIS II, and non-GW SPs.

Responsibilities:
  • Working with the Team AT&T PM and through the CMT and CTT to identify collaboration points of contact from the other service providers
  • Working with the other service providers’ collaboration POCs to align processes, select a common set of collaboration tools, and establish business rhythms for collaboration activities
  • Identifying RIS I process/project owners and teams to serve as SMEs to support collaboration activities
  • Creating a collaboration matrix to document cross-contract collaboration areas by project, process, team, and function
  • Developing a communication plan to increase situational awareness
  • Facilitating collaboration within various GW service areas
  • Performing risk assessment related to collaboration and conflict resolution
  • Ensuring adherence to GWPMO governance
  • Facilitate meetings with other service providers; such as Weekly Integration Meetings and Risk Reviews, and Technical Evolution Initiative Coordination and Collaboration Meetings
  •  Preparing Conference Agendas (CDRL A007), Presentation Materials (CDRL A008), and Conference Minutes (CDRL A009)
  • Develop RIS I Portal infrastructure and User Interface – maintain currency and share appropriate artifacts for review and comment
Eighteen (18) years of experience as a program or project manager in managing programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required... Direct experience in managing multi-task contracts and subcontracts of various types and complexity, as well as experience in leading a multi-vendor environment is required. Shall be knowledgeable of the guidelines provided by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), DoD 5000 series, and ICD 801 policies. Must have demonstrated experience in conducting requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring, and reporting. Must have at least five (5) years of demonstrated experience in the management and control of funds and resources using complex reporting mechanisms such as Earned Value Management. A PMP, FAC-P/PM Senior Level, or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level 3 certification in Program Management.

Required Clearance: Candidate must have a TS/SCI polygraph clearance

Desired: A degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline
