DUTIES:                           Perform Requirement Analysis, Design and Development, Testing and Implementation, End User Training of BI Applications. Gather business requirements by performing Data Analysis, Requirement Specification, and Business and Technical Analysis. Create Procedures, Packages, Functions, Triggers, and other database objects using Oracle 10g, Unix and Windows Servers, SQL, and PL/SQL. Follow established Software Development Life Cycle from end to end. Build and maintain SQL scripts, indexes, and complex queries for data analysis and extraction. Evaluate production issues, investigate and provide optimal solutions using data analysis practices, and prepare analysis reports and dashboards. Support the Business Intelligence Practitioner in the delivery of strategic value of the company’s business partners. Understand the business’s date requirements and foster solutions with design of data integration for data visualization meeting the business’s monitoring needs. Provide ongoing support for the BI information infrastructure to improve the quality and value of data delivered to business for strategic projects. Present findings in a logical and visual manner to all levels of the organization. Provide support for the BI Practitioner for all BI activities for one or more business areas. Engage with business stakeholders about all facets of BI activity. Consult with the business to determine information needs and identify new opportunities to use data assets and analytical tools to drive the company’s competitive advantage. Develop business cases for new BI solutions and provide subject-matter expertise about business rules, data definitions, and logic. Gather and analyze requirements for BI projects and data requests. Develop prototypes and storyboards to facilitate requirement definition. Facilitate QA and UAT activities with business and BI Delivery teams. Perform BI Project and Business Request intake and prioritization. Define and initiate BI requests for business stakeholders and prioritize and validate all BI requests with the business. Ensure quality delivery of all BI deliverables and collaborate with IT on enterprise projects with BI impact. Manage stakeholder communication, status, and expectation for BI delivery. Drive data custodianship with key business stakeholders and engage business partners in the enterprise data governance program. Conduct review and solicit feedback of key metrics and KPI with business stakeholders. Plan, design, and implement application database code objects including stored procedures and views. Ensure best practices are applied and integrity of data is maintained through security, documentation, and change management.
REQUIREMENTS:    Requires a Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Electronic Engineering followed by five (5) years experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressive experience gathering business requirements by performing Data Analysis, Requirement Specification, and Business and Technical Analysis; creating Procedures, Packages, Functions, Triggers, and other database objects using Oracle 10g, Unix and Windows Servers, SQL, and PL/SQL; following established Software Development Life Cycle from end to end; building and maintaining SQL scripts, indexes, and complex queries for data analysis and extraction; and evaluating production issues, investigating and providing optimal solutions using data analysis practices, and preparing analysis reports and dashboards.
