The Pricing Strategy Analyst will be responsible for the performing detailed analysis necessary to update and maintain price lists, make recommendations and implement changes in the stores business. This includes the general list price, Market Group Price Lists (MGPL) and other strategic price lists. The analyst will be responsible for driving pricing strategy execution to gain margin, increase pricing accuracy, reduce overrides, and increasing customer confidence. These all ultimately contribute to PPG sales growth and profitability.
Expectations for this role include:
Drive, communicate and champion the pricing strategy
Proactively maintain MGPLs for products and pricing using data, market intelligence and price point logic
Work with marketing to update list price aligning with strategy, “One PPG” focus, and competitive comparisons
Assist markets in strategy execution, providing guidance for increasing MGPL usage and Shop quote reduction
Work with the Pricing Manager to make recommendations for change based on insights and learnings
Develop and communicate meaningful reporting to measure execution success
Learn and understand the pricing system and actively participate in enhancements
