In support of SBU profit and growth objectives, manage all aspects of account sales for the Adhesives business on a North American basis for Liquid Nails and Homax sold to Lowe’s US.
Responsible for the financial health (P&L) and strategic direction of the account along with the day-to-day interaction with the customer (external and internal), category management, marketing, merchandising, pricing, promotions, field sales initiatives, commercial sales and forecasting.
Primary Accountabilities:
Set and implement the strategic goals for the specialty category
On-going category management for product line that includes product positioning and offering at store level
Manage profitability of the paint category
Develop field sales directives to ensure Liquid Nails and Homax is sold effectively at store level
Establish and foster relationships with all levels of Lowe’s Management and various applicable departments (Merchandising, Supply Chain, Marketing) culminating in successful annual line review presentations.
Develop productivity solutions to meet Lowe’s productivity metric goals
Interact with PPGAF National Accounts marketing team to address Point of Sale (POS) requirements for the paint category
Account planning and forecasting
Analyze Specialty product and productivity performance
Maximize return on investment of promotional vehicles
Understanding of competitive marketplace (products and programs) for US
Requires:
Undergraduate 4-year business degree, MBA preferred
Minimum of five (5) years of account management/sales experience
Demonstrated background in business analytics and computer skills
Solid understanding of Marketing (preferably retail/consumer)
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with external and internal customers
Retail experience, especially in home center channel is desirable, not required
