Research Intern (Irvine)

Position Summary:
OVERVIEW
The Research Intern will be a member of the Irvine Research Team and will provide auxiliary research support to a team of analysts.
The position will be based in Irvine and no travel will be required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintain and update existing databases with the end-goal of achieving complete data quality and accuracy.
- Responsible for specific areas of database information, including lease and sale comparables, and, over time, assist team of analysts with tracking property databases.
- Work closely and actively interfaces with sales professionals and team of research analysts.
- Required to attend specialty meetings when applicable.
- Assist with preparation of client deliverables and presentations.
- Create and maintain presentations in proprietary geospatial analysis tool
- Source, generate, and update content for local JLL market blog
- Understand or learn software programs used in the research function.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree; current students will also be considered
- Interest in Commercial Real Estate research analysis
- Experience with CoStar and other commercial real estate databases, desired
- Skills with Google Earth and other graphics and video production software, a plus
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in spreadsheets, database management and Web-related searches
- Proactive thinker with strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently and within a team structure
- Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure, and effectively manage time and workload
