WMS Senior Business Systems Analyst - Foothills Ranch, CA Facility

As our Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will support the Foothills Ranch facility in Foothills Ranch, CA.  The candidate will be expected to work hand in hand with our Business, Warehouse Management Systems vendors and Operations teams to ensure the smooth operation of our WMoS system and facility.  You will perform, document and sign off on complex testing activities to validate changes prior to their promotion into production. You will also trouble shoot and communicate effectively on varying degrees of production support severity issues with your business, operations, IT and vendor partners with the goal of minimizing downtime and impact to Nike’s revenue. You will develop, maintain and ensure standards, processes and policies are in place and adhered to within the department. You will work closely with North American IT personnel and management to provide input with regards to status, change management, Problem/Incident management and suggestions for improvements to standards, processes and policies.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science and 6 years’ experience with WMS and/or WCS implementations in a large scale distribution center environment.
  • Strong leadership and technical skills.
  • Strong and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work in project and production support models with a diverse group of individuals across multiple departments.
  • Strong technical background with multiple system interfaces.
  • Strong documentation skills for project and production support life cycle projects and tasks.
  • Strong problem identification and solving skill set.
  • Ability to work with the business and operations in identifying and prioritizing competing requests in order to provide the maximum value to the business.
  • Ability to identify, document and justify enhancements to improve productivity and labor costs.
  • Strong business acumen to quickly learn new business processes and understand how IT needs to support the business in achieving revenue and profit goals.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented and sometimes highly stressful environment.
  • Flexible work schedule for Project and Production Support activities.  
  • Intimate technical knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems required. 
  • Manhattan Associates Open Systems (WMoS) technical experience and knowledge a plus.
  • Ability to write and execute complex SQL statements used in the research, investigation and resolution of production issues.
  • Knowledge and experience working within the Database environment used in Open Systems or similar WMS systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and lead troubleshooting teams within the technically complex environments.
  • Knowledge and experience of WMS systems integration with MHE Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) in a large scale distribution center environment a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Warehouse Control and unit sortation/fulfillment systems a plus.
