Treasury Analyst

NIKE is looking for an experienced Treasury Analyst to join the Global Cash & Banking Team at NIKE’s European Headquarters located in the Netherlands. The Global Cash & Banking Team is a group within Global Treasury that ensures all NIKE entities around the world have adequate liquidity to conduct business and is responsible for centralizing NIKE’s cash.

As a Treasury Analyst in this position, you will be accountable for managing liquidity for over 60 entities across Europe. Attention to detail and proactivity are both critical in this role.

In this role you will be expected to:
  • Perform daily cash management and forecasting activities including:
    • Updating daily cash positioning and short term cash forecasting files; performing regular variance analyses on both
    • Preparing the daily cash packet
    • Initiating Treasury related transactions related to borrowing, investing, intercompany funding, etc.
    • Validating all daily cash movements, including foreign exchange settlements
    • Working directly with internal and external technical teams to resolve any issues
  • Manage a large portfolio of intercompany loans
  • Provide back-up for the FX Back Office Treasury Analyst
  • Ensure internal controls, policies and procedures are strictly adhered to
  • Develop and maintain various reports
  • Provide audit support, acting as a key contact for audit inquiries
  • Collaborating with internal and external parties to evaluate, propose and implement process improvements and system enhancements 
  • Collaborating with Treasury Controls to maintain process documentation
  • Supporting various projects and initiatives
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement efforts

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics. Preference will be given to candidates with advanced level certifications such as ACCA, ACT, CIMA, CFA, CPA or CTP.
  • 2 years of recent experience directly performing Cash Management activities in the Regional or Global Treasury center of publicly traded multinational company
  • Advanced computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Preference will be given to candidates with significant SAP experience and extensive knowledge of multiple Internet Banking Systems
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) with excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Acute attention to detail, ability to exercise a high degree of professionalism and a constant focus on delivering high quality customer service
  • Demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle competing priorities
  • Experience working with cross functional teams
  • Strong work ethic and team player mentality
  • Ability to learn quickly and stay current on industry and marketplace trends
