Position Summary:


Staples Business Advantage is seeking inside sales professionals with a preferred minimum of one year of telephone/inside sales and account management experience to work with our high-volume customers. As an Inside Sales Account Manager and business consultant, you will manage existing customer accounts with an emphasis to increase sales. 

 

What you will do:

  • Grow B2B account sales by building personalized working relationships at multiple levels within large organizations (customer base is provided; no cold calling);
  • Enhance customer loyalty when welcoming new customers into the managed accounts program;
  • Identify new sales opportunities within account base. Build customer contacts and sell across all Staples Business Advantage product categories;
  • Develop incremental sales and maintain strong margin within account base; and
  • Meet established goals for sales, margin, and daily activities

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in sales (any field)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated written communication skills

 

 

What We Would Prefer, but not required:

  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Knowledge of email marketing and social media
  • College experience
  • Experience working in a team environment
