Summary of key duties and responsibilities:
This position is located in Carey, OH. It is to ensure Automotive Coatings customer satisfaction by providing technical service in a customer plant on a wide range of products and application techniques. Provide sales and Service support to ensure maintenance and expansion of business at existing account, including management of a consignment inventory program. The incumbent will be responsible for following all PPG and Location safety procedures, providing timely resolution to customer inquiries on line operation, application problems, color control, and provide on-site, hands-on support.
Functional / Technical Skills:
Incumbent should have mechanical aptitude and be able to communicate intelligently and effectively with technical, production and non-technical personnel in order to satisfy customer requirements. Must have a work background of several years experience in the technical aspects of the coatings industry. The incumbent must maintain a high degree of professionalism and perpetuate PPG’s image as a technological leader in the coatings industry. The incumbent should have 3 to 5 years field experience with various industrial coating technologies, be familiar with basic Color and surface quality testing measurement, and applications for liquid spray in the automotive market.
Educational or Required Work Experience:
